Are there any essential features which are a MUST HAVE for you?

  • DifferentTicket States
  • Access to purchases from the member
  • Allow guests to submit ticket
  • Administrators

The most important feature ( FOR ME:D ) => Everything happens in the Frontend.

Agents/Staff call it however you want shouldn't need to log into the ACP to handle tickets. This was really annoying while working on tickets for IPS.

What exactly are you interested in? What features are essential in the first version?

  • Use a different email address for the ticket system (other as community email address)
  • Parse incoming emails (new and answers to the existing tickets) into the system
  • Strong spam protection on the support form for guests: spam defense, captcha, email ban filter, IP and flood protection.

Do people still need this? I have an early alpha build for this, but the more I think about this and future features, the more I want to kill this as stand alone app and use the IC5 Pages/Database for this because 90% of this stuff is already available there.

Yes, I'm interested into a proper ticket system.

The Pages application lacks features like a proper assignment system, view permissions and all the other workflows from a proper ticket system.

You can have databases where only the author can see his own records, or what else do you have in mind with view permissions?

And what workflows do you have in mind? IPS unfortunately removed the "Incoming Email" feature, so my application wouldn't support this neither out of the box ( that said, it would be quite easy to implement this via Zapier)

That's a big disappointment.
