It would be nice if this app could bookmark private messages, like the V4 app.

One suggestion I got with v4 was if comments could be saved too.

This might not be possible, some of the hooks aren't there now.

Yes, Daniel.

I have to think about this, because this would also mean that the "quick bookmark ability" with only one click, would have to be replaced with a modal being shown when one clicks on the bookmark link, which is exactly what I wanted to avoid in the v5 version because it was really annoying in the v4 version.

I could show the bookmark icon and when one hovers over it, it gets expanded to 2 links "bookmark , bookmark + comment" similar to the reactions icon

That could be doable, when I added the app to my site I got instantly asked about comments.

Having something which hovers over could work nicely, though I am curious if it would be a good solution for mobiles? Thanks, Daniel. I'll try to be around here a bit more, I want to support devs better.

It would behave the same as the reactions icon.
If the browser doesn't support hover, the user will need to tap on the icon. It will be the same UX as with reactions .

Could it be, that the link https://xxx.xx/index.php?app=dfbookmarks&module=bookmarks&controller=index
shows up all Bookmarks from other users and not only my personal ones?
I only have, maybe 3-4 Bookmarks, but currently it shows 6 Pages full of bookmarks 😀

Thanks, I have fixed this for the next release.

And, i think in the Bookmarks Overview there is one static Text string, i can't translate it.

This should be the "remove_bookmark" lang string.

Check... i found it.. But the problem here is that my new value won't be saved.

Check my short screen record.
I've tried it two times, and reload it.

I also get a prompt with ""Saved"

Was this an upgrade from v4? Had you the old bookmarks application too? Is it disabled (and not deleted)?

Yes, it was an upgrade from v4. I deleted the application.. But no Problem at the moment, this is just a test migration.
For the next migration. Should I leave the apps deactivated? Or what is the best way to remove old apps ? Before still in v4 ?

Thanks for the update... Looks good after the update. The alignment for the language key bookmarked could end with the text box above it.

And can i delete the old language string in the database ?

I’ll take a look at your DB later today, I really want to know what’s going on with the duplicate strings
